PUBLISHING

The Library operates as an integral part of the publishing activity of the Institute of Contemporary History of the province of Pesaro and Urbino (ISCOP) and of the provincial ANPI of Pesaro and Urbino, that has been engaged in the publishing of historical researches of both a scientific and a popular kind for twenty years. In these works some mostly unpublished aspects of the history of the twentieth century have been studied from different points of view: the social, the economic and the political. In the activity of the eighties we point out the six volumes of the history-books IDERS composed of miscellaneous essays that discuss various aspects of the history of the twentieth century in the province, and the volume: G. Rochat, E. Santarelli, P. Sorcinelli (publisher), “Gothic Line 1944. Armies, Populations, Partisans”, Milan, Angeli, 1986, which uses a wide documentary apparatus, both national and international, that is presently kept at the Library.
Since the nineties publishing activity has become more intense with the creation at the publisher CLUEB in Bologna, of the collection “concentric circles”. The books in the collection range from World War I to fascism and from Resistance war to the democratic renewal.

Besides this the Libraryhas produced several publications with a  didactic – popular cut, and also collaborates for the publication of the historical-popular and didactic review
of the provincial ANPI of Pesaro and Urbino, “Living Memory”
