The Library-Archives of Contemporary History “Vittorio Bobbato” is a centre which specialises in twentieth century history and keeps historical-documentary materials of different kinds (video, audio, paper, photographs, etc.) that relate to the history of the contemporary age in the provincial and national area. This facility was founded in the ‘80s thanks to the donation of Vittorio Bobbato, who was a partisan fighting for Liberation, and to the work of the provincial ANPI (National Association of Italian Partisans) and of the Institute of Contemporary History of Pesaro and Urbino (ISCOP); since 1996 it has collaborated with the Provincial Administration of Pesaro and Urbino and with the Town Hall of Pesaro. This web-site aims to show the various sections and activities of the centre and to allow the digital consultation of documentation which is useful for didactic, scientific, popular or simply curiosity purposes. The web-site is connected to a wide process of digitalisation of the materials we keep and it is continuously increasing.
